Bootloader Unlock Guide

Enabling Bootloader Unlocking on Phone:

  1. Open Developer Options.
  2. Enable "OEM unlocking."
  3. Open Mi Unlock Status.
  4. Add your Mi account and device.
  5. Enable USB debugging.

Setting Up ADB and Fastboot on Laptop:

  1. Download ADB and Fastboot Tools.
  2. Download Mi Unlock Tool.
  3. Run the ADB installer, type 'y' to install.
  4. Power off the mobile.
  5. Press Power + Volume Up to enter fastboot mode.
  6. Connect the phone to the laptop via USB.
  7. Check if the Android phone is detected in Device Manager.

Unlocking Bootloader:

  1. Open Mi Unlock tool, right-click, and run as administrator.
  2. Log in with your Mi account.
  3. Connect the phone, click "MiFlash Unlock."
  4. The tool will show the connected phone.
  5. Reboot, activate the device, and enable Developer Options.
  6. Check Mi Unlock Status to confirm unlocking.

Flashing Custom ROM:

  1. Download Official ROM.
  2. Open MiFlash Tool.
  3. Select the ROM file.
  4. Choose "clean all" option.
  5. Click "flash" to start the process.

Note: Unlocking the bootloader and flashing custom ROMs can void warranties and may lead to issues if not done correctly. Proceed with caution.
